About
Spider Queen turns the player from a human into a monster, with the option to keep a spider body overlaid with their own skin. As the Spider Queen, you can see in the dark, climb walls with webbing, swing across distances with a webslinger, and capture creatures by wrapping them in cocoons. Lay eggs in a web-filled lair and feed cocoons to determine what hatches, building a brood that includes Boom, Ender, Pack, and Rider Spiders. The world adds creatures such as bees, mandragoras, ants, beetles, and wasps; you can befriend groups of creatures, and friendly mandragoras help nearby crops grow. You can also choose how to deal with humans, battle rival Spider Queens and bosses Jack and Yuki, and free imprisoned creatures from loot-filled human factories. Tools such as the freeze rod can freeze creatures, turn water to ice, and douse flames, while the recall rod summons your friendly creatures to you.
