Star Crop is a Stardew Valley-inspired farming and adventure mod that combines crops with exploration, quests, trading, and combat. Players can grow a variety of crops, meet NPCs who cook and craft special weapons, and visit shopkeepers selling seeds, ores, and rare items; NPCs appear in structures generated throughout the world. A Mayor in a castle-like office offers quests, while a Blacksmith can reveal crafting recipes when given an empty book, and an egg incubator hatches eggs for a surprise. The mod adds three dimensions inhabited by strange monsters, with hidden bosses whose parts can be collected to craft powerful weapons with unique effects. Its equipment includes Fire, Ice, and Tide armor sets with distinct elemental abilities: Fire gear offers effects such as fire resistance and a strength bonus while burning, Ice gear supports underwater exploration and resists ice slipping, and Tide gear provides water-related effects including temporary invisibility. The Savage Land turns water into lava and prevents water placement, while Frozen Hell turns placed water into ice and lava into obsidian. Several bows have specialized boss interactions: the Apollo Bow gains damage against Snowmad based on its burning time, the Frozen Bow scales against Ancient Shark with its slowness effect, and the Naga Bow uses the Magma Dragon’s active effects to increase damage before removing them.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 1 area: Mobs and their behaviorChanges 1 game code file in this area: mobs, animals, villagers, projectiles and how they move and act..
Adds 61 blocks, 164 items, 6 mobs, 1 other entity, 18 biomes, 4 dimensions, 9 structures, 11 recipes, 4 loot tables and 7 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
