A general use API for Fabric Loader mods on legacy Minecraft versions.

StationAPI is a general-purpose modding API that provides Fabric Loader mods for legacy Minecraft with systems ranging from event handling to rendering and world-save support. Its event-driven registries let mods add blocks, items, recipes, entities, dimensions and other content using string-based identifiers, while its event bus supports initialization and client- or server-specific listeners. StationAPI’s partial backport of Minecraft’s Flattening save format greatly expands the capacity for unique blocks and items and allows configurable world heights and flexible block states with properties such as rotation, age and on/off state. An in-game converter supports migration between StationAPI’s save format and vanilla worlds, and StationAPI clients can join vanilla servers, where Flattening-only features are disabled. The rendering system provides extensible texture atlases that combine the terrain and item textures, supports mod-added textures, and enables custom formats and data-driven models.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 3 areas, as a library other mods build on: Game coreChanges 1 game code file in this area: the main loop, lighting and other code the whole game uses., Server and world logicChanges 1 game code file in this area: the world, commands, scoreboards, saved data and game rules. and Other game codeChanges 140 game code files in this area: game code that is not in one of the areas above..
Adds no new blocks, items or other content.
Replaces 29 of vanilla Minecraft's other resources and 10 other data files.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
No Minecraft release version is listed for this project.
Modpacks that include StationAPI in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. None is for a recent Minecraft version. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
