Survivable Deserts adds resources, food, and useful crafting options so players can make a home in the desert without relying on a village. Cactus-stained planks provide a desert wood source, though they turn into oak planks when placed next to water, while compressed sand can be dug up and crafted into nine sand. Cacti yield Not-so-Prickly Pears, which can be eaten at a cost of taking damage or combined with bottled water to make the more nourishing Not-so-Prickly Jam; a Juicer doubles the jam output. A glove made from rabbit hides lets players throw cactus needles as a makeshift weapon and harvest pears from cacti. Fertilizer turns dirt into grass, and bone meal used on sand can produce dead bushes. Zombie Farmers occasionally appear in the overworld and drop assorted seeds and food when killed. Rare desert oases, in small and large forms, feature animals and palm trees; the palms add a sand-toned wood type and can drop coconuts that split open when thrown for food. Broken-down houses can also appear in deserts, sometimes with cactus-stained planks in their floors.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16 to 1.19.4.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 18 blocks, 10 items, 1 mob, 24 recipes and 1 loot table.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Replaces 1 of vanilla Minecraft's loot tables.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16 to 1.19.4.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16 to 1.19.4.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
