Tead expands vanilla Minecraft with Dungeons-inspired equipment redesigned to suit the vanilla aesthetic, along with new materials, items, and practical additions to crafting and survival. Its weapons and tools include crop-harvesting sickles that replant crops and yield experience, hammers suited to mining building blocks, dual-wieldable daggers, knockback-focused staffs, heavy claymores and double axes, and several bows with distinct range and handling. Some weapons add unusual effects: the Lightning Staff can call down lightning during rain, while the Firebolt Slinger sets its shots alight and the Wind Bow pulls targets toward the wielder. The Trick Bow uses special arrows, including torch arrows that light blocks or ignite mobs, TNT arrows that explode, copper arrows that summon lightning, and Ender Pearl arrows that teleport the shooter to where they land. Other ranged and throwable weapons include a shotgun firing Lead Bullets that split into smaller projectiles, explosive grenades, and recoverable shurikens. Armor additions include crowns, dyeable robes, Stalwart armor with extra knockback resistance, and dyeable Highland and Plate sets with damage-resistance benefits; Boots of Swiftness grant speed and jump boost while worn. The mod adds lead and ruby ores, fabric and handles used in crafting, and materials such as bronze, steel, rose gold, and obsidian, with handles required for many tools to make early progression more deliberate. Tead items can appear in vanilla structures, with different equipment suited to different locations, and mobs can spawn carrying weapons; rare finds include specialized bows and the Boots of Swiftness. It also adds foods such as jerky and Lead Apples, plus recipes for saddles, chainmail armor, and rooted dirt, as well as smelting recipes for raw-ore blocks.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
tead-0.4-1.20.4.jar, CurseForge tead-0.4-1.20.1.jar. 18 classes changed, in net.pythonbear.tead: TeadLootTableProvider, TeadRecipeProvider, CustomizedArrowEntity, ShotgunProjectileEntity, ShurikenProjectileEntity, WindArrowEntity, TeadBlocks, AmethystArrowItem, BoringArrowItem, CopperArrowItem, EnderPearlArrowItem, ObsidianArrowItem and 6 more.We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
