    About

    The Boiled One, Again is a horror mod inspired by Doctor Nowhere’s “The Boiled One,” built around unsettling appearances and events that unfold over time in a world. After a while, players hear one of PHEN-228’s speeches and receive the “Paranoia” advancement, marking the beginning of the mod’s activity; the Initial variant appears first and looking at it allows other variants and events to begin appearing. The Behind variant appears behind the player when there is room, vanishes when it is no longer very close, and despawns when seen; the taller Tall variant stares from a distance and disappears when approached. The invisible Wave variant moves toward the player, becomes visible to wave when close, and then despawns as it gets nearer. The mod also includes blood rain and configurable insomnia.
