The Borderlands Weapon Mod brings randomly generated Borderlands-style gear and enemies into Minecraft, including pistols, shotguns, assault rifles, sniper rifles, rocket launchers, SMGs, shields, grenade mods, Marauders, Psychos, and Eridium. Most of its main items are randomly generated, so weapons and shields can vary in their stats and abilities; gear can be found in Creative mode or may drop from mobs when they die. Weapon manufacturers have distinct behaviors: Jakobs weapons fire as quickly as you click, suitable Dahl weapons burst-fire, and Maliwan weapons are always elemental, while Pangolin shields trade health for greater capacity. Shields fit in the chest armor slot, and grenade mods fit in the boot armor slot. Eridium appears around the Minecraft world after the stronghold has been found and the End opened.
