    The Forbidden One adds a dangerous entity called The One that hunts the player and can kill them instantly if they disobey its commands. After at least three days and a good night's sleep, The One begins to appear, and the player receives an item that opens a mob-free alternate dimension for safe travel or escape. Using the item triggers The One to spawn and pursue the player periodically; configuration options can increase its spawning frequency or aggression, or disable the starting mechanic, item, and alternate dimension.
