About
The Lunar Undead is a horror mod built around a progression from surviving lunar threats to becoming the Lunar King. Zombies, skeletons and their variants, wither skeletons, phantoms, zombie piglins, and zoglins can appear as Lunar Undead, tougher, faster foes that resist fire and grow stronger during full moons; defeating them yields Lunar Essence for crafting. Rare Lunar Wraiths are usually translucent but turn opaque and glow at midnight on a full moon, an event called a Lunar Peak, while occasional Lunar Invasions prevent sleep and cause many more Lunar Undead to appear with heightened strength and speed. Lunar Essence lets players summon Being-M from Lunar Magma Blocks during a Lunar Peak; defeating this boss earns a Lunar Energy Core used to craft Lunar Ingots. Lunar Ingots can be made into the Lunar King's armor, sword, and dagger, with the dagger enabling a curse that can transform a player killed by an undead mob into an undead player. Undead players gain night vision but burn in sunlight without a helmet, and can awaken as Lunar Kings by reaching the sky in kingly armor during a Lunar Peak; Lunar Kings gain undead powers and may teleport behind attackers. The mod also adds Anti-Lunar Potions to counter Lunar Undead buffs, with a stronger version that can affect Lunar Kings and Being-M as well.
