Adds naturally colored wood from many real-world tree species.

The Natural Woods Mod expands Minecraft’s wood selection with 25 real-world-inspired tree species, each with its own logs, planks, leaves and sapling, using wood colors and bark designs based on natural examples rather than fantastical hues. The species grow in distinct biomes across a separate Natural Woods dimension, reached through a portal made from reinforced homogenized wood planks and activated with a crafted riftcutter. Examples include beech in the Beech Forest, black cherry in the Black Forest, mangrove in the Mangrove biome, and eucalyptus in Eucalyptus Forests; some trees also have distinctive traits, such as paperbark yielding paper when sheared and manchineel poisoning players who mine it. Saplings do not grow on their own: they need bonemeal or another dye to become trees, and leaves always drop saplings that can be propagated with a dead bush and bonemeal. Wood from the new species and vanilla trees can be crafted into reinforced planks for compact storage or tougher building blocks, while beams can be made from wood types including petrified and vanilla wood. The mod also adds petrified wood, found in underground clusters and the Petrified Forest, plus wildlife including black and grizzly bears, crocodiles, crabs, deer and kangaroos; these mobs drop materials such as bearhide, crab legs and venison.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.11.2 to 1.12.2.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Replaces 5 of vanilla Minecraft's block textures.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.11.2 to 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.11.2 to 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
