Use weapons, tools, and items freely in either hand.

This author published many projects at once on Modrinth: up to 8 projects published within 2 weeks. 6 of the author's 12 projects have only one release and no source code link. A series of small add-ons is often published this way. It does not change the grade.
The Offhand Mod reworks dual wielding to make the offhand a fully usable, independent part of play, drawing on Mine&Blade Battlegear 2's mechanics. Left click activates the main-hand action and right click the offhand action, while holding Alt with either click reverses the action; this lets you use items in either hand, including attacking, shooting, eating, placing blocks, and mining with the offhand. You can use an item or place a block with one hand even while the other holds a usable item, and third-person swing animations show offhand attacks. The mod allows any items in either hand, provides two pairs of four slots, and replaces the hotbar with interchangeable slots for the hands rather than requiring a separate offhand-placement GUI. Wielding weapons in both hands offers a gameplay benefit, and vanilla bows can be fired simultaneously, though the two-bow feature does not support modded bows. Battlegear weapons are disabled by default but can be re-enabled in the configuration.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10.
Adds 4 items: Chain, Cloak, Heraldic Icon and Quiver; 1 sound: Shield.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
