A Herobrine-like boss stalks you and challenges you to fight.

The Pursuer adds a Herobrine-inspired boss for players seeking a largely vanilla-like experience, without a collection of new items or summoning mechanics. A single Pursuer can stalk a random player roughly once per day, appearing as a neutral observer at first; players can avoid or delay encounters, for example by staying in water, which eventually makes it leave. The boss shifts between Observation and Combat: it teleports around its chosen player while stalking, then fights with an iron sword and can dodge attacks by teleporting. Each wound makes the Pursuer more dangerous, adding moves such as calling reinforcements or placing TNT, and later versions change weapons and gain stat boosts. Several advancements track progress, and game rules can adjust appearance chances, make the Pursuer attack immediately, or gate stronger versions behind player progression. Defeating the Pursuer for good grants a consumable that greatly boosts the user's health and damage for as long as they remain alive.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.17.1.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.17.1.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.17.1.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
