The Shooting Star Addition is an unofficial addon for The Shooting Star [Demo] that extends the Stellar Remote with two additional skills, SA-01 Halley and SA-02 Luna. Halley calls down a comet at the player's crosshair, carving a frozen trench toward its target before it explodes into an icy crater with a glowing comet heart, frost rays, and a shock wave that can throw, damage, and freeze nearby creatures. Its sky darkens for the approach, revealing stars, the galaxy, and an aurora; the comet is accompanied by a fireball, debris, sparks, and flashes, with an on-screen marker helping players track it when it is out of view. Luna brings the moon down onto the crosshair, creating a deep, wide crater and leaving a moon made of edible cheese with a molten core; its impact also sends fissures, falling debris, and a damaging, burning shock wave across the surrounding land. Moon cheese can be placed or eaten, while molten moon cheese grants powerful temporary effects; Luna has its own cutscene, sounds, alarm, music, and remote-menu controls, and it cannot be used where there is no moon, such as the Nether. Both skills integrate with the remote's menu, HUD, cooldowns, and cutscenes, and offer power, damage, and speed controls; players can also configure strike sizes and terrain carving, while client-side settings adjust visual effects such as sky darkening, lighting flashes, and shader-pack rendering. The strikes can permanently alter the landscape, so the addon provides options to adjust or disable terrain carving, but the source recommends backing up worlds players want to preserve.

Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI was used for its code
Claude Code is named in the files of its repository.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
