About
The Skill Tree Mod adds a skill-based progression system that gates access to crafting and other familiar Minecraft activities. Players begin with five Skill Points and can earn more through achievements or Skill Gems; unlocking skills also costs experience levels, and skills cannot be refunded once purchased. Its starting tree includes skills that unlock crafting-table access and progressively open up armor, weapons, tools, and blocks or stations such as furnaces, enchanting tables, brewing stands, doors, beds, and chests. Many items from other mods are gated as well, with equipment progression moving through material tiers such as wood or leather, stone or gold, iron, and diamond.
