The Winter Rescue: Frosted Heart is the core mod for The Winter Rescue modpack, providing most of its content and gameplay systems; it is designed to be played with the full pack, since features and recipes may be incomplete on its own. Set in a world plunged into a prolonged winter, the experience centers on surviving the cold, exploring Earth, researching lost technology, and rebuilding human life. Its temperature simulation accounts for heat reflection and convection, with distance from heat sources, shelter, insulation, and airflow affecting the warmth of a space, while shifting fronts and blizzards bring changing temperatures, poor visibility, and risks to heating equipment. Players develop a steam-powered industrial base through research, using drawing desks, research papers, and mechanical calculators to unlock machinery, recipes, and better ways to stay warm. The steam network includes generators, heat pipes, radiators, chargers for cooking and backpack heating, and saunas and baths that restore inspiration. Beyond temperature and technology, the mod adds agriculture, fungal reproduction, specialty foods and plants, decorative blocks, and tools such as ore detectors, hand warmers, incineration modules, and heated vests. Its custom soup cooking content includes soup pots and crock pots, supporting meals made from crops and animal products.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends about you
We read its code without running it: it contacts 2 web addresses while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
