The Wizarding World is a magic-focused mod built around spellbooks, magical equipment, and a progression through Pupil, Teacher, and Master studies. Its spellbooks are organized into three tiers, with named examples including Fire, Lightning, Ice, and Wind in Tier I; Remedy, Teleportation, and Propulsion in Tier II; and Combustion, Healing, and Light in Tier III. Spell crafting uses custom interfaces and recipes, while the available studies, spellbooks, and broomsticks give the magic system distinct levels of equipment and progression. Necromancy adds the Book of Necronomics, which can summon allies, alongside Necromancers that call in armed zombies and skeletons and may drop a pendant or blade. The mod also includes Despairs, which are vulnerable to the Book of Light, and more dangerous Aggressive Despairs that appear after a Master-level spell is cast. Players can encounter the Unknown Sorcerer boss and explore a Wizard's Tower, as well as a Monoment biome with Tower Brick structures, powerful Tower Guardians, and loot-filled Tower Loot Stashes. Other additions include the Wizarding Dealer's trades, wand-refreshing enchantment, crossbow and bow tomes, and the reusable Replenishing Dish.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 14 blocks, 122 items, 29 mobs, 1 biome, 3 enchantments, 39 recipes, 28 advancements, 5 sounds and 2 key bindings.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
