Touhou Little Maid: Heart Pact expands Touhou Little Maid with a relationship and family-life progression, letting players build a long-term bond with a maid through daily conversation, gifts, and affectionate interactions before progressing to confession, dating, proposal, and a wedding. Affection and mood shape which interactions become available and how well they are received: headpats, hugs, kisses, and marriage unlock at increasing relationship stages, while fatigue, low mood, or repeated unwanted actions can limit affection gains or prompt refusal. Married life adds shared sleep events, with optional rhythm gameplay that can influence pregnancy; after a child is born, players can name and care for the little maid, interact with her, and follow her growth into a child. As children grow, they can take on tasks including enchanting studies, alchemy studies, tactics studies, and exploration, with their mood and affection affecting the quality of some results. Family-focused features include a viewer for a maid’s relatives and a consent form that transfers an adult daughter maid’s guardianship to another player, who must develop the relationship anew. If a little maid dies, her spirit can remain in the world; players can comfort and remember her, guide her with a soul lantern, and, after building sufficient attachment, use a totem of undying to bring her back as a newborn.
