Deployable turrets that automatically defend your base from hostiles.
53.1 of the 71 points that apply = 75 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Turret TaCZ adds deployable automated defenses for TaCZ, using its weapons and ammunition to track and engage hostiles while protecting owners, teammates, tamed pets, and other configured allies from friendly fire. Placement previews provide facing locks, reachability checks, elevation feedback, and nearby-resupply detection, while turrets can be picked up with their inventory and state preserved or resupplied from nearby containers and compatible TaCZ ammunition boxes. A shared control screen manages ammunition, status, target filters, access rules, and behavior, and displays live diagnostics. Combat uses material-dependent penetration, ricochets, ground-skipping rounds, and impact effects; turrets can take damage to their frames, optics, servos, or weapons and be repaired in the field with materials. Destroyed turrets leave a recovery chest for their inventory, while visual and sound effects include animated muzzle flashes and smoke, physical shell casings, calibre-specific tracers, and screen-edge suppression when rounds pass close by. Datapack tags and an API let modpacks configure targeting and ally rules and define ballistic block materials.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 6 items, 6 recipes, 27 sounds and 2 key bindings.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found in the parts we could check
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
One of its files for recent versions cannot be checked: its author does not let other sites download it from CurseForge.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends, in the 1 of its 2 files we read
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI was used for its code
The author declares AI code on Modrinth.
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
Point at or tap a version to see its loaders.
Modpacks that include Turret TaCZ Addon in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 1 release needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This counts in the grade, but it is too few to lose points.
