Ul's FirstAid Fork is a bug-fixed fork of First Aid that replaces Minecraft's single health bar with eight health regions for the head, body, legs, and feet. Armor protection is calculated for the region being hit, while injuries can cause persistent or on-hit debuffs, such as slowness from foot injuries or brief blindness and nausea after severe head damage. Bandages and plaster let players choose which region to heal through an inventory interface, and morphine suppresses health-related debuffs while its effect lasts. Vanilla natural health regeneration is disabled by default, and the player dies if their head or body health reaches zero; the regeneration setting can be changed in the configuration or with the naturalRegeneration gamerule. The fork focuses on preserving the original mod's functionality while fixing crashes and other bugs, including a game-breaking damage-model crash.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.19.2.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 3 items: Bandage, Morphine and Plaster; 1 sound: Debuff Heartbeat; 3 recipes.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.19.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.19.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
Point at or tap a version to see its loaders.
These projects do not work together with Ul's FirstAid Fork: their authors or Ul's FirstAid Fork's author say so. If you install both, the game can crash or some features can stop working. Some of them do the same job as Ul's FirstAid Fork, so you only need one.
Modpacks that include Ul's FirstAid Fork in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. None is for a recent Minecraft version. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
