About
Ultimate Compression is a storage-focused mod that lets you compact nearly every vanilla block and item, turning nine of a supported material into one compressed version and allowing you to reverse the process when you need the originals back. Compressed ingots, ores, and other materials also provide crafting ingredients for swords, pickaxes, axes, shovels, hoes, and armor, with tool durability nine times that of vanilla counterparts and armor that gains durability and full-set effects such as resistance, strength, or speed. The mod adds naturally generating compressed ores in the Overworld and Nether, including coal, iron, diamond, emerald, quartz, and gold ores; these are rarer than their vanilla counterparts and yield more experience when mined. Compressed coal and blaze rods can also serve as furnace fuel, while the JEI integration displays compression recipes and Create can pack compressed blocks and saw compressed logs into planks.
