    Ultimate Pickaxes expands mining with 18 specialized pickaxes whose abilities change how players gather resources, explore, build, and fight. Mining-focused tools include the Vein Pickaxe, which can break up to 64 connected ores at once, the Laser Pickaxe, which cuts through six blocks in a chosen direction, and the Magnet Pickaxe, which draws in nearby items and experience. Other picks alter mined blocks or drops: the Fire Pickaxe smelts ores automatically, the Void Pickaxe can filter unwanted blocks, the Fortune Pickaxe can trigger large bonus drops, and the Natural Pickaxe converts cobblestone and stone-brick blocks into mossy variants while preserving grass blocks. Exploration tools include the Pathfinder Pickaxe, which carves 3-by-3 tunnels, places torches, and adds ladders on steep changes in terrain while preserving blocks such as chests, ores, and spawners, and the Enderman Pickaxe, which provides limited-charge teleportation to a target block and keeps Endermen from attacking its holder. The Prospector Pickaxe indicates the approximate direction of nearby diamond, emerald, ancient debris, gold, lapis, or redstone when mining stone or deepslate, while the Causal Pickaxe tracks block types and chains bonuses such as faster mining, improved drops, Fortune, or extra experience based on what was mined previously. Combat and environmental effects distinguish picks such as the Blood Pickaxe, which heals from damage and mines faster at low health, and the Frost Pickaxe, which freezes nearby water into packed ice and can freeze enemies. Advanced picks use special crafting materials obtained through activities such as mining, defeating mobs, or following particular block-mining sequences. More than 120 configuration options let players or server administrators adjust effects, drop rates, mining speeds, explosions, block filters, and other features for balance and performance.
