Useful Stuffs adds practical blocks, items, effects, and small gameplay conveniences to Minecraft, including tools for automation, storage, exploration, and building. Berry bushes generate in the world and provide berries for food or dye, while a Campfire of Traveller’s Wisdom consumes fuel to create a buff area whose radius can be increased with logs. The Universal User simulates a player while recharging held items with energy or fluid, and Tank Frames turn inserted Fluid Containers into fluid tanks; the containers also work as portable, bucket-like storage. Filing Cabinets store either unstackable items or item stacks with NBT data, while the Mining Backpack automatically collects mining resources and can quickly deposit them into chests. Other equipment includes a Light Shooter that launches light sources into hard-to-reach places, a Ring of Stabilizing that removes the airborne mining-speed penalty, a Milk Bag for portable milk storage, and Packing Glue for sealing and picking up blocks. Li-ly lets players float and sprint on liquids, Fiery Li-ly adds fire resistance and can be found in the Nether, and the Parachute effect reduces fall damage. The Frugal enchantment reduces Packing Glue’s durability cost, Fast Draw shortens bow-drawing time, and Endest allows arrows to hit Endermen. Additional touches include a Portal Muffler that silences Nether portal sounds, a rain detector, and a bed countdown that can be activated or canceled with a double-click.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.10.2 to 1.12.2.
Adds 37 recipes.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.10.2 to 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.10.2 to 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
