New foods and crops bring more farming to your world.
Finished or replaced projects get no grade: they will not get fixes or new versions.
VanillaVariations expands the vanilla-style farming and food experience, adding crops, wild plants, Nether farmland, and craftable foods that players obtain through farming. Its additions span several dimensions and biomes: ender roots grow on End soil and yield Chorus-fruit-like teleporting pie, while Amaranth grows from seeds found among Nether dead roots and can be made into foods, tools, and armor. Other Nether plants include soul flowers, wild ginger, and berry bushes in the warped and crimson forests; their foods grant effects such as movement speed, night vision, or fire resistance, and soul essence can craft armor that grants wither immunity when the full set is worn. The mod also adds Nether materials and blocks, including soul stone building pieces, crying basalt variants, and rare crystals used for armor and tools. Beyond the Nether and End, players can find water lilies in swamps, cabbage in plains, and walnut trees, alongside garden ingredients and foods such as salads, soups, pies, and cakes. Additional decorative and practical additions include marigolds, violas, lavender, snapdragons, a flower crown that can grant regeneration, and salt rock that can oxidize copper through interaction with a copper block.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 51 blocks, 66 items, 1 enchantment and 84 recipes.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Replaces 2 of vanilla Minecraft's recipes and 2 advancements.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
