About
Vintage Terrain Generation is a terrain-generation mod that aims to recreate aspects of older Minecraft world generation while using only vanilla blocks. Instead of treating biomes as sharply separated preset regions, it derives them from forest, rainfall, temperature, and fertility values, creating fluid transitions between them. Worlds are dominated by land rather than oceans, with rock strata at different depths and generally larger, more natural-looking overhangs. Trees generate dynamically, producing a wide range of shapes and sizes.
