War On The Mobs is a strategy and territory-defense mod built around a conflict between players and an expanding undead army. Players can establish a Player HQ, capture Command Posts, or use Purification Totems to reclaim territory; player-controlled areas are lit and prevent surface mob spawns, while mob-controlled land spreads and enables Scout Skeletons, Zombie Scavengers, and Overworld Ghasts to appear. Mob forces invade Command Posts over time, with advance chat warnings, and capturing too many posts can trigger surprise retaliation parties against a selected post. Defending against the army involves fighting the forces guarding mob-held posts, including Zombie Captains, and ultimately locating and defeating the Mob HQ to stop its territory from consuming the world. The mod also adds Event Blocks that trigger events near vulnerable players, defensive forces that respond to nearby players, Scout Skeletons that call in reinforcements when they hit a player, and a boss encounter near the Mob HQ. Players can craft defenses including land mines and barbed wire, while a built-in chunk-loading mechanic supports the ongoing conflict. Regional difficulty rises as the mob territory expands, increasing the number of enemies that spawn, and many settings, including invasion timing and force sizes, can be configured.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10 to 1.11.2.
Adds 23 blocks, 1 item, 1 projectile and 4 other entities.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10 to 1.11.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10 to 1.11.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
