Warning is a horror mod that turns an apparently ordinary world into a disturbing experience of strange encounters and unpredictable events, framed by a story about players trapped in the game after downloading a cracked launcher. Its 75 events include sudden lightning, unexpected advancements and chat messages, shifts from day to night, fake animals, and blocks such as water or bedrock appearing in the sky. The entities include Warning, which can appear as a passive mob and respond to chat, and Warning (Attack), which builds a pillar toward the player and breaks nearby blocks before attacking; a Stalker vanishes when watched but can summon Warning (Attack) if it reaches you. Other unsettling encounters include Fatal, which pursues and teleports near the player before inflicting a deadly effect, and fake pigs, cows, and chickens that imitate ordinary animals in different ways. The Fatal effect lasts about two and a half minutes and kills the player when it ends, while the mod also features a boss fight and a Strange Book that appears after the main boss is defeated. Players can converse with two entities using typed chat, and Warning and Fatal give different answers to the same questions. The mod warns that its events can damage worlds or disrupt world generation, so it should not be used in worlds the player wants to preserve.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 2 blocks, 21 items, 19 mobs, 1 biome, 1 dimension, 1 advancement and 21 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

Modpacks that include Warning (Horror TBS) in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 7 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 2 points.
