Throw slimeballs, baseballs & more, bounce them off blocks & mobs, hit them with bats.

Weaponized Baseball turns baseball-style throwing and batting into a set of combat and play mechanics, adding baseballs, golfballs, dirtballs, stoneballs, super slimeballs, and throwable materials such as eggs, slimeballs, fire charges, coal, gems, nuggets, and ingots. Throwables bounce off blocks, mobs, and one another, with bounce height and sliding distance varying by item and surface; they can also trigger buttons, break glass, slide over ice, and be fired from dispensers. Players can throw items and hit them with bats, launching them away; successful hits can build combo damage, while stronger bats hit harder and send baseballs farther, and bats support most sword and bow enchantments. Catcher’s gloves collect throwables, including ones you are looking at, and can catch balls in mid-air; missed bat swings return a throwable to your inventory, while repeated throws without a hit cost bat durability. Throwing also accounts for the player’s movement, and crouching slows throws and prevents automatic pickup; throwables may break when they hit mobs or cacti, while mob knockback depends on a projectile’s speed and mass. The mod supports tuning throwable bounciness and friction, and offers settings for features such as collision behavior, despawning, and whether super slimeballs gain speed from bouncing.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.19.2.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 16 items, 14 recipes and 2 key bindings.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.19.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.19.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
