Weather & Tornadoes Remastered revives most of the original Weather1 mod’s content, while adding new weather events, tools, and configurable systems. Thunderstorms progress through five severity stages, with stronger storms bringing more frequent lightning and greater risk of strikes; tornadoes grow more destructive with their stage, tearing up terrain and sucking in mobs and blocks. Waterspouts are weaker tornadoes that form over water in windy rain and dissipate on solid ground, while storm clusters amplify wind and can spawn stronger, special tornadoes as they intensify. Heavy downfall creates louder rain and puddles that can turn grass into dirt and dirt into mud or break crops, torches, and redstone; in snowy biomes it builds snow and can cause frostbite, which shelter or nearby heat helps counter. Wind varies over time, moving particles and leaves outdoors and, when strong, pushing mobs and dropped items or triggering doors, levers, gates, and buttons. Players can respond to severe weather with redstone-linked Wooden Canopies that shield crops from rain, Rainfall Detectors, Tornado Sensors, and Tornado Sirens that prompt villagers to flee indoors when a tornado is nearby. Weather-related tools include a Weather Reader that forecasts events and reports on active storms, plus a Wind Core that can pull or repel mobs, manipulate blocks, trigger wind-responsive blocks, and create mini-tornadoes. The Shockwave Item launches blocks and mobs and can be upgraded, while the Drill Item digs by flinging blocks upward; other additions include a block-made wandering Worm Gun creature and a creative-mode Construct Item for saving and placing player-built templates of up to 3,200 blocks. Wind Vessels store wind focused by a Wind Channeler and fuel Turbines, which push items, mobs, and players; a Storm Infuser upgrades wind cores and shockwave items, and a Tornado Dispeller can destroy a tornado when it is drawn in and discharges its stored charge. Configuration lets players tune weather timing and event probabilities, tornado destruction, and how tornadoes interact with specific vanilla or modded blocks; in-game probability previews help assess chosen weather settings. Creative players can also create and configure up to two custom tornadoes per world, adjusting properties such as behavior, particles, sounds, and spawning conditions.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

Modpacks that include Weather and Tornadoes Remastered in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 12 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 6 points.
