Control time and weather using machines instead of commands, and more.
17.9 of the 61 points that apply = 29 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
WeatherControl lets players manage time and weather through XP-powered, end-game machines and items rather than commands, with adventure-oriented recipes designed to fit into established tech-focused worlds. Its Rainmaker and Dreamweaver blocks change their textures in response to the world's time and weather, and emit comparator data and redstone power while in use; each also has a graphical interface, sounds, and animations. Craftable handheld Mini versions have cooldowns, can charge inside their block counterparts when conditions are met, and display the current time or weather when used while sneaking. The mod adds two enchantments, XP and Cooldown Imbuement, along with two music discs: the Dream Disc, obtained by killing an Enderman at night during a full moon, and the Rain Disc, obtained by killing an Elder Guardian during a storm. Other additions include four paintings depicting an ocean monument, an Elder Guardian, an Enderman, and a dream theme, as well as two achievements and crafting items. Cooldowns, usage notifications, and XP requirements can be adjusted through data-driven settings, with changes recognized after saving without restarting or reloading. With Patchouli installed, players receive the WEATHERPEDIA in-game guide, and JEI can display the mod's recipes.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.18 to 1.18.2.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 6 blocks, 14 items, 2 enchantments, 13 recipes, 5 advancements and 4 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.18 to 1.18.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.18 to 1.18.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
