Wild West Guns and Dimension brings a Wild West setting to Minecraft, with a dimension built from American West-inspired biomes and settlements to explore. Its landscapes include prairies, prairie forests and riversides, and dry and lush deserts, while generated locations include abandoned homesteads, ancient missions, towns, and cavalry forts. Towns feature western buildings such as saloons, jails, sheriff’s offices, banks, general stores, stables, hotels, and gun shops, with NPCs including sheriffs, bartenders, traders, trappers, and saloon girls. NPCs have distinct roles and interactions: sheriffs defend towns against outlaws, outlaws attack sheriffs and other friendly residents, and some traders offer purchases or currency exchanges. The mod adds animals including longhorn steer and buffalo, as well as outlaw enemies, friendly town residents, cavalry NPCs, and a boss associated with desert forts. Its arsenal ranges from Colt and Navy revolvers, a Winchester repeater, Springfield rifle, shotguns, and Spencer carbine to a hunter’s knife and tomahawk, with ammunition types such as .45, .44-40, buckshot, and .45-70. Weapons must be loaded before firing and can be maintained by cleaning, while clothing and armor include cowboy hats, dusters, vests, corsets, skirts, ponchos, and chaps.
