About
Wither Storm Mod adds a growing boss encounter centered on a Wither Storm that attacks mobs and evolves over time into a much larger, more powerful threat. Its progression runs through numbered stages: early forms can be defeated with strong equipment, while later forms become extremely difficult to stop; stage four gains a tractor beam, and later stages grow larger and can kill most players in one hit. After the sixth stage is killed, a one-headed storm returns and grows again, alongside severed forms that can also develop new heads and reach giant size. The Formidi Bomb is a crafted countermeasure that kills mobs within a 40-block radius, while defeating the storm or its severed forms at different growth stages yields nether stars, withered nether stars, or dark nether stars. A withered nether star can be combined with a beacon to make a wither beacon, which grants powerful effects when activated with a netherite block beneath it or during a thunderstorm. In survival, players can craft a Wither Storm Spawner from a command block and soul sand to summon the boss.
