X Harry Potter Mod brings Harry Potter-themed magic and items into Minecraft, including Harry Potter’s and Voldemort’s wands, working spells, a broom, an invisibility cloak, dementors, Patronuses, and a music disc that plays the Harry Potter song. Its spell and item range includes Wingardium Leviosa, Avada Kedavra, Lumos, Bombarda Maxima, a chocolate frog, Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans, Nagini, and Horcruxes such as the diadem, locket, diary, and cup. The mod adds the Burrow, which can appear in plains with Harry Potter items inside, and a phone booth that leads to an Azkaban prison dimension; hostile characters appear in the Dark Forest or that dimension, while friendly characters roam the Overworld, with some tied to specific biomes. Players can resurrect Voldemort using a cauldron and a crafted item, together with a father’s bone, WormTail’s flesh, and Harry Potter’s blood; Professor Quirrell can also appear as a Voldemort-Quirrell mini-boss when he dies. Collecting the Elder Wand, Resurrection Stone, and Invisibility Cloak lets players craft and consume the Deathly Hallows item to become Death, gaining invulnerability, flight, one-hit kills, lightning-summoning attacks, and the ability to change forms and travel between the Overworld, Nether, and End. The two signature wands are limited by wizard alignment: Voldemort’s wand requires the Dark Wizard side, while Harry’s requires the White Wizard side. With Budschie’s Morph Mod, players can become an Animagus and choose among a bat, rabbit, wolf, horse, and ocelot; changing the selected animal requires a reset.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.15.2 to 1.17.1.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 10 blocks, 242 items, 25 mobs, 4 other entities, 2 biomes, 2 dimensions, 127 recipes, 48 advancements, 3 loot tables, 1 sound and 16 key bindings.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found in the parts we could check
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.15.2 to 1.17.1.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
3 of its files cannot be checked: its author does not let other sites download them from CurseForge.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends, in the 1 of its 4 files we read
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.15.2 to 1.17.1.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
