Xenomorph Types is a re-creation of the abandoned Aliens Vs Predator mod, with the creator’s own take on starting and growing a xenomorph hive in a Minecraft world. The cycle begins with dormant eggs found underground in small, water-surrounded caverns; when an egg is struck, a facehugger seeks a host, a chestburster emerges after a few minutes, and the young xenomorph grows through successive life stages. Xenomorphs can evolve from drones into warriors and praetorians by killing, then become queens or matriarchs, which dig underground, build nests, and lay eggs to begin the cycle again. The mod includes seven host-derived variants: normal, runner, spitter, swimmer, scout, mycelomorph, and shifter, with warrior, praetorian, and queen forms described for the variants. Queens and their worker drones develop nests into expansive hives, spreading hive resin across nearby blocks, though it cannot spread onto plastic. Some freshly hatched chestbursters can be tamed with royal jelly from queens: eligible types are generic, runner, and scout, and tamed xenomorphs can be fed jelly to grow only as far as the drone stage or rotten flesh to heal. Tamed xenomorphs tolerate their owner but remain part of the hive mind, will not attack other xenomorphs, and may attack other moving creatures. The mod also adds weapons and drops.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 12 blocks, 96 items, 82 entities, 1 structure, 15 recipes, 3 advancements, 5 loot tables, 29 sounds and 1 key binding.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

Modpacks that include Xenomorph Types in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 7 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 6 points.
