zoli2D's Subnautica brings a Subnautica-inspired survival sandbox to Minecraft, inviting players to explore the ocean-covered planet 4546B, build a base and vehicles, and survive without retelling the original games' story. Survival means monitoring oxygen, hydration, and hunger while exploring a randomly generated world with 16 biomes, including the Safe Shallows, Mushroom Forest, Blood Kelp, Dunes, and Grand Reef. The world is home to carnivores, herbivores, and leviathans, with examples including Stalkers, Bonesharks, Sandsharks, Reaper Leviathans, Ghost Leviathans, and the Sea Dragon Leviathan. Players can craft the Notch Rocket from copper and titanium generated in the Overworld to reach 4546B, then use vehicles such as the Cyclops and Prawn Suit alongside equipment and building features. The project also includes Subnautica-inspired plants, ores, decoration and functional blocks, and locations such as Lifepods and the Aurora, with recipes based on the original game.
