Helpful HUD, chat, and inventory improvements for BedWars games.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 23 graded mods, 17 are graded A or B, 2 C and 4 D to F. Its last update came out 5 months ago, for Minecraft 1.8.9. See the mods
BedWars+ is a client-side modpack built to make BedWars play smoother, combining gameplay conveniences, clearer on-screen information, communication tools, visual changes, and performance and stability improvements. Its practical features include an inventory HUD and adjustable HUD elements, automatic tool selection for blocks, chat macros and filtering, and alerts when another player approaches from behind. The included mods add further BedWars-oriented touches such as automatic end-of-game “GG” messages, on-screen keystrokes, damage tinting, smoother interface animations, quick server joining and reconnection, and gameplay recording with Replay Mod. Performance and stability components include entity culling, memory and lighting optimizations, crash prevention, and bug patches, while FPS Reducer can lower frame rates when Minecraft is running in the background. The pack also includes BedWars Essentials textures and the Geometric Font resource pack, alongside visual features such as 3D player-skin layers and realistic dropped-item physics. Users can enable, disable, or adjust features through the individual mods’ configuration options, and the pack is presented as using client-side modifications intended to comply with server rules.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.8.9 · Forge, 22 May 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 10 Aug 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 27 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
4 mods send something about you
We read the code of 24 of its 25 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 1 of the 25 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in it, or its author declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
