A modpack with guns, extra weapons, and parkour moves.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 14 graded mods, 8 are graded A or B, 2 C and 4 D to F. Its last update came out 9 months ago, for Minecraft 1.16.5. See the mods
This author published many projects at once on Modrinth: up to 5 projects published within 2 weeks. 12 of the author's 18 projects have only one release and no source code link. A series of small add-ons is often published this way. It does not change the grade.
Black Guns and Weapons ModPack brings together modern and classic firearms with parkour movement for combat-focused Minecraft play. Its arsenal draws on Timeless and Classics Guns and its LesRaisins add-on, Mo' Guns with shotguns and sniper rifles, and MrCrayfish’s Gun Mod, where weapons can be customized with attachments. ParCool! adds running, jumping, climbing, and sliding, giving players ways to move around while fighting. Better Animations Collection adds more fluid animations, while Simple Night Vision Goggles help players see in dark areas. JEI lets players look up items and crafting recipes, including those for managing their arsenal.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.16.5 · Forge, 27 Jan 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 1 Sep 2024 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 16 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Its mods send nothing about you
We read the code of all 16 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (27 Jan 2026) in the 16 mods we checked.
1 mod shows AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
