48x48 items (GUI Scale 3x) is a resource pack for Minecraft players who use a three-times-scaled interface alongside higher-resolution block textures, providing 48×48 item textures intended to avoid the uneven appearance the creator describes when smaller textures are enlarged by the game. It covers the item set, including tools, armor, boats, crossbows, discs, and custom-textured enchanted books, with some interface graphics also reworked. Its three-times font keeps the original character widths so text remains readable on signs and in books, and the pack can be layered over other resource packs, including 32× and 64× vanilla-style packs. Item designs draw on Accurate texture for a stricter vanilla look; with OptiFine or a CTM mod, the pack also offers alternate Netherite Pickaxe and Sword skins for specified enchantments.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Changes 831 item textures, 3 mob and entity textures (Projectiles), 163 interface textures, 40 status effect icons, 7 map textures, the font and 83 models.
Adds 3 item textures, 2 mob and entity textures, 5 interface textures, 17 other files and 65 models. Also has files for 1 other mod: X48.
Textures are mostly 48 by 48 pixels, up to 768 by 768.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
