AWP & Desert Eagle Overlay is a resource pack that replaces Minecraft’s bow and crossbow with 3D models of an AWP sniper rifle and Desert Eagle pistol, and changes arrows into bullets. It also replaces the bow, crossbow, and arrow sounds with gun sounds, and requires no item renaming, so it works in single-player and on most multiplayer servers. The AWP has a scope in the 1.20 and 1.21 versions; in those versions, the bow is changed to a Desert Eagle variant.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Changes 6 item textures, 3 mob and entity textures (Projectiles) and 13 models.
Adds 2 item textures, 11 sounds and 1 language file.
Textures are mostly 16 by 16 pixels, up to 64 by 64.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
