Backporting modern textures to old (and even older) versions of Minecraft.

Backport Everything is a resource pack that brings modern Minecraft textures to older releases, letting players give alpha and beta worlds or older-version play on servers a newer visual style. It covers releases from 1.20.1 back to the 2009 pre-classic build rd-132211, with only grass and cobblestone available for that earliest build. Among its backported content are redstone repeaters, comparators and torches, an HD ghast texture, a high-definition Minecraft logo, distinct spawn-egg textures, wolf colour variants, and cold- and warm-climate cow, pig and chicken textures. The pack also adds tall and short dry grass, a bush texture, and a 3D bed model to older versions; the dry grass can replace dead bushes, while the bush can replace short grass. It includes texture support for The Aether, including versions for the Beta 1.7.3 and 1.2.5 era, as well as The Aether on Station API for Beta 1.7.3. Some features, such as selected textures and entity variants, require OptiFine, MCPatcher or an equivalent texture feature, while versions too old to support texture packs natively can use the pack as a jar mod.

No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

Modpacks that include Backport Everything in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 10 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 6 points.
