Backrooms Retextured is a resource pack for building and map-making that turns selected vanilla blocks into liminal Backrooms scenery for a found-footage horror atmosphere. Its themed areas include the Lobby, Poolrooms, Habitable Zone, Level Fun, The Endless City, The Infinite Office, Level Motion, Level Run, and The End. The pack adds building details such as patterned wallpapers and concrete, carpet blocks and stairs, baseboards, signs, lights, barriers, drawers, and party decorations, reusing vanilla block types for these variants. It also retextures selected entities and items, including Facelings, a Partygoer, a Bacterialized Creeper and Mold Warden, a rusty stone knife, and themed music discs; some entities have added sound effects. Certain blocks gain distinctive behavior or presentation, including a placeable flashlight represented by a lantern and a ceiling-mounted bulb, plus void holes visible from below.

No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
