Better Betweenlands is a resource pack that reworks textures and presentation for The Betweenlands mod. It gives many item sprites a distinct style, including Syrmorite armor, Marshmallows, Drinkable Brews, the Silk Pouch, Records, the Shockwave Sword, and weapons such as weedwood and predator bows; it also includes textures for tools, arrows, and armor like Valonite. Block updates include random variants for grass, betweenstone bricks, and ores, alongside textures for moss, lichen, Spirit Tree Leaves, fallen leaves, Pitstone, and many ore- and log-type blocks. The pack also changes interface details with lower shields, no mask overlays, separate inventory textures for Spreading, Mirage, and Possessed blocks, and clearer names, colored aspect-discovery messages, and more descriptive tooltips. Some changes affect how content appears in the world: Spirit Tree Leaves use a 3D inventory model, Spreading Sludgy Dirt displays an exclamation mark when placed, and the Leech mob has a retexture. With Optifine, a purple nighttime lightmap and emissive textures add a glow to many blocks and items, while custom armor textures distinguish Rubber and Marsh Runner boots.

No harmful code found

We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
