Zombies now look and feel like zombies.
Finished or replaced projects get no grade: they will not get fixes or new versions.
Better Zombies is a resource pack that makes vanilla zombies feel more lifelike while preserving their familiar visual style. It adds zombie-inspired animations and gives zombies a rotting-flesh feel through changes to their sounds and textures, alongside varied skins designed to fit naturally into the vanilla look.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes 3 mob and entity textures (Zombie and Zombie villager).
Adds 3 mob and entity textures and 23 sounds. In OptiFine's formats: 3 entity models, varied textures for 1 mob and 9 glowing textures.
Textures are mostly 64 by 64 pixels.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
