Color Blindness Simulating Vanilla Shaders is a resource pack that uses Minecraft’s Super Secret Settings shaders to let players with normal vision experience how different forms of color vision deficiency can affect the game, with the aim of raising awareness and encouraging more accessible color choices in resource-pack and graphic design. Its numbered vision modes range from normal trichromatic vision through deuteranomaly, deuteranopia, protanomaly, protanopia, tritanopia, tritanomaly, achromatopsia, and achromatomally, simulating shifted color perception as well as reduced or absent color vision. Players can switch between normal vision and a selected color-vision mode with F4; the shader effect changes the game view, while menus and the hotbar remain unaffected. The simulations are intended as demonstrations rather than exact representations of every condition, and the source notes uncertainty about the achromatopsia and achromatomally approximations.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.8.
Changes 8 core shader files.
Adds 16 core shader files.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.8.
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
