Creature Variety is a resource pack that makes Minecraft’s creatures feel less uniform by adding randomized changes to their textures, colors, and models. Many variants depend on biome or height, including biome-specific pig textures, while villagers can vary individually in skin tone, eye color, eyebrows, and clothing; snow and desert villagers have especially broad clothing variety. The pack also reworks baby mob models and adds small animated touches, such as blinking for dolphins and slimes, as well as adult and baby striders. Among its creature variants are warm-water Common Dolphins and cold-water Hourglass Dolphins, Belugas, and Narwhals, alongside changes to Piglins, Piglin Brutes, zombies, and skeletons. Players can customize pet appearances with dyeable cat and wolf collar styles, including bandanas, coats, sweaters for cats, shoes, or no collar, using symbols or corresponding names on a nametag. Nametags can also bring out particular textures that do not appear naturally, while some naturally occurring variants can be summoned this way too. The pack relies on OptiFine’s Custom Entity Models and Random Entities options for its randomized textures and model changes to work properly.

We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
