Darked Vanilla PvP Overlay is a resource pack that adds combat-focused visual changes while aiming to keep Minecraft’s vanilla look. It includes a smaller shield, lower fire, a smaller pop effect, small utility textures, obvious powder snow and small cobwebs. To reduce visual clutter during fights, it removes wind-charge, wind-burst and explosion particles, fire smoke and pumpkin overlay, and reduces hit and critical particles. It also offers clear water, brighter Nether visuals, full brightness, no fog or cave sounds, and less obtrusive and quieter rain and thunder.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes 17 block textures, 68 particle textures, rain and snow, 191 models and 1 other file.
Adds 1 mob and entity texture, 5 models and 3 sounds.
Block textures are mostly 16 by 16 pixels, up to 32 by 32. 4 block and item textures are animated.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
