Even Better Enchanted Books is a resource pack that gives enchanted books distinct, vanilla-style textures, making their enchantments easier to recognize while fitting Minecraft’s visual identity. It covers enchantments across categories including protection, swords, aquatic gear, fishing rods, maces, bows, crossbows, pickaxes, tridents, movement, and curses; examples include Protection, Sharpness, Density, Efficiency, Riptide, Mending, and Vanishing Curse. For books with multiple enchantments, the pack changes the texture according to their combination: same-category enchantments use a large book for that category, while mixed categories use a default large book, curses use a cursed design, and impossible combinations use a distinct impossible design. The multi-enchantment book textures work without additional dependencies in Minecraft 1.21.5 and later; earlier versions require an appropriate CIT-compatible option, and do not support the special large-book feature.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes 1 model.
Has files for 1 other mod: Ebeb.
Textures are mostly 16 by 16 pixels.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
AI was used for its images
Adobe Firefly is named in the images in its files.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

Modpacks that include Even Better Enchanted Books - Hold My Enchanted Book Items in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 2 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This counts in the grade, but it is too few to lose points.
