God of War Tridents is a resource-pack collection that turns Minecraft’s trident into weapons inspired by God of War, with options including the Leviathan Axe and Mjölnir. It replaces the trident’s model, textures, and sound effects, adds animated and reactive visuals, and renames the weapon and its enchantments to fit each weapon’s theme. For the Leviathan Axe, runes glow when it is thrown or held in rain or water; a thrown axe leaves a contrail, and an axe lodged in a surface gains a glow around its handle when wet. For Mjölnir, runes likewise glow when thrown or held in rain or water, while throws add lightning around the handle and leave a lightning trail; a lodged hammer also gains a wet-weather handle effect. The runes and effects use emissive textures, so they glow in dark areas without producing light, and thrown weapons spin as they leave the player’s hand. The pack’s custom models and animations require compatible custom-entity-model support, such as OptiFine or CIT Resewn with Custom Entity Models.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Changes 1 item texture (Trident), 2 mob and entity textures (Trident and Trident riptide) and 1 core shader file.
Adds 2 mob and entity textures, 15 sounds and 1 language file. In OptiFine's formats: 1 entity model and 2 glowing textures.
Textures are mostly 128 by 128 pixels, up to 256 by 256.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
