About
Haven is a pixel-art resource pack that gives Minecraft a rich, colorful look inspired by the style of Stardew Valley and Hytale, rather than simply reproducing the default textures. It reworks a wide range of blocks, items, and scenery, including wood and stone, ores, crops, flowers, Nether and End blocks, tools, armor, food, and furnishings, with custom models for features such as candles, lanterns, and pumpkin and melon stems. Biome-specific details add variety, such as cactus-patterned desert creepers, differently textured bees, Spanish moss in swamps, burgundy kelp in cold oceans, and auroras over frozen biomes. The pack also changes the interface with a backpack-inspired survival UI and custom screens for crafting, enchanting, chests, and furnaces. With OptiFine, players can see added environmental effects and animations, including dawn and dusk light rays, shooting stars, custom lightmaps, falling leaves, and butterflies that flap their wings above certain flowers. Some OptiFine features also add small surprises to the landscape, such as fireflies over selected flowers and randomized beach and ocean sand textures that can reveal starfish, sand dollars, or seashells. The pack works in vanilla Minecraft, but OptiFine is recommended because several biome-specific textures, models, and visual effects depend on it.
