HCat is a resource pack that replaces cats’ collars with wearable hats, which can be dyed using Minecraft dyes. Naming a cat Christmas, Osanan_, Witch, taCH, or SWD gives it a Santa hat, an iridescent hat, a witch’s hat, an inverted hat, or a chef’s hat, respectively. The custom cat models require custom entity model support, provided by OptiFine or by Entity Model Features together with Entity Texture Features.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
Adds 16 mob and entity textures. In OptiFine's formats: 16 entity models.
Textures are mostly 32 by 32 pixels, up to 64 by 64.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
