HMI Item Position Fix is a resource pack that corrects first-person item placement shifted by the Hold My Items mod, so items sit properly in the player's hand. It repositions items across many popular 3D packs, including Actually 3D Stuff, Weskerson's 3D Items and Nature, Fresh Foods, Fresh Seeds, Fresh Ores and Ingots, R&V Torches, and Pato's Refined Buckets and Totem. Its adjustments cover a wide range of held objects and models, including tools, swords, shields, flowers and plants, candles, blocks, trapdoors, fences, beds, and hanging plants. When multiple 3D packs are enabled, corresponding settings toggles let the pack apply corrections for different combinations, helping prevent their positioning adjustments from stacking or conflicting.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
Adds 1 particle texture, 7 other files and 3 language files.
Textures are mostly 64 by 64 pixels.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

Modpacks that include HMI Item Position Fix in at least one of their versions, most downloaded first.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 15 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 7 points.
